Riverlinx CJV In Partnership with Transport for London, Building the Silvertown Tunnel.
RiverLinx is designing and building a new 1.4km twin-lane tunnel, under the river Thames, which will be completed in Spring 2025, linking North Greenwich and Silvertown for the first time.
Riverlinx is committed to delivering world-class infrastructure for London, on time and on budget, in collaboration with TfL, their client, and their supply chain partners.
While delivering the Silvertown tunnel they pay close attention to the needs of local communities where their sites are based, offering opportunities to get involved and connect with their team.
To simplify and digitise their purchasing process and have a proper document management system in place.
- Joint venture with multiple construction companies.
- Resulted in gross inaccuracies and even loss of project status data mainly due to inconsistent update business process flows, incorrect filing conventions, missing authorisations, document duplication and deletion. Looking for a single system to procure all materials, services, machinery, labour, etc.
The successful implementation of this solution enabled an upscale to the entire project.
