TheJobApp Case Study
About TheJobApp
TheJobApp is a Tech start-up aiming to connect Gig Economy workers with employers in the security, hospitality, and leisure sectors, and meet the compelling need to reach a wider pool of available workers on a short-term temporary basis.
The application is available on the website www.thejobapp.com and on both iOS and Android from the respective mobile stores.
The application is an intermediary allowing employers (businesses) to post and fill shifts with vetted temporary job seekers (workers).
Workers create a profile and specify their skills in the job roles available on the platform making themselves visible to the business having similar resource requirements.
Once a match is established the business can offer jobs to the worker who in turn can accept/reject per their availability and willingness to take the job.
Workers post completion of their shift, will be paid via the App immediately (real time payment into you’re the workers account).
- TheJobApp envisions to lift the job sector of security, hospitality, and leisure sectors, by giving businesses flexibility to operate on the granular model considering the after-effects of the lockdown and by giving job seekers access to maximum opportunities coupled with immediate payment.
- TheJobApp is currently Live in the UK and is planning to extend the platform into other geographies. The platform is highly configurable and provides flexibility to accommodate the changes in onboarding process, payment mechanism and skill set definition per the geography.
