Leading digital expert The Data Company announced today a new partnership with The Efficient Group to deliver a digital transformation journey that will accelerate business growth and market leadership.

Through this new partnership, it will undergo a Group-wide technology transformation programme that will see the implementation of a ‘first-of-its-kind’ data and technology integration hub in South Africa.

The Efficient Group’s Information Technology Officer, Wikus Janse van Vuuren says the company aims to achieve growth through the synergy of technologies. “The new, innovative hub will provide a state-of-the-art client experience for clients to view their entire financial portfolio – managed by the Efficient Group – in one place online, while still benefitting from our independent financial advice offline. This ensures that they will continue to receive personalised products and services based on their individual needs.”  

The hub will also provide an elevated experience for the Efficient Wealth advisors, who will have a 360-degree view of their client portfolios to facilitate enhanced client service.

Kali Bagary, Chief Executive Officer of The Data Company says they will provide a managed service that brings people, processes, and technology together to deliver a phased transformation journey over the course of the next two years.

He adds that the project will allow the Efficient Group to unlock the power of their data and enjoy the benefits of customised technology that is best suited to their business needs.

As well as developing the new intelligent data hub, the project will include maintaining central standard ‘connectors’ to enable the Group to link their different systems. User access portals and dashboards will be developed and implemented for key stakeholders, such as customers, advisors, management, and administrative staff.
