The Data Company Technologies (PTY) LTD | Terms & Conditions for a Spin and Win Entry | FIA Summit 16th October 2024

1. Entry into this competition is open to persons who (i) are in attendance at the FIA Summit on 16/10/2024 and visit The Data Company stand by no later than 15h00 to provide their contact details; (ii) are over the age of 18; and (iii) meet the eligibility criteria set out below.
2. The following persons may not enter this competition, and no prize will be awarded to them:
3. Any director, member, partner, employee, independent contractor, agent, consultant (or any family member or close friend of such persons) of The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd; and
4. Any supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition.

COMPETITION ENTRY

1. Entry into the competition is free of charge and open to members of the FIA who:
2. Visit The Data Company stand between 08h00 to 15h00 on 16th October 2024 and provide their contact details to The Data Company representative OR by following the prompts on the QR Code displayed.
3. Consent to having their name and photo posted on The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd.’s social media pages.
4. Consent to their personal information being processed as stipulated in the consent section below and agree to be contacted regarding solutions, services, and demos.
5. Entrants must be present at the FIA Summit 2024 to be eligible to participate in the Spin & Win.

COMPETITION MECHANICS

1. Upon providing their contact details, entrants become eligible to spin the wheel and immediately win a small prize/gadget based on where the wheel lands.
2. Prizes are allocated according to the outcome of the spin. For example: Land on 1: Win [Prize 1]; Land on 2: Win [Prize 2]; Land on 3: Win [Prize 3].
3. All entrants agree and understand that they only stand a chance of winning an instant prize.
4. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any defects or changes to any part of the prizes. The prizes are subject to availability, and The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to substitute a prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

PRIZE COLLECTION

1. Prizes won through the Spin & Win are handed over immediately at The Data Company stand. There is no option for later collection or delivery.

CONSENT IN RESPECT OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

1. The entrant consents to their personal information being collected and processed in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act no.4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd.’s undertakings below:
2. The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd shall process the entrant’s personal information solely to enter the competition, contact them regarding solutions, services, and demos, and deliver the prize immediately upon winning.
3. Store such personal information on a secure server to prevent unauthorised access.
4. Entrants have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of their personal information held by The Data Company Technologies (Pty) Ltd.
