Minimum Qualifications and Experience | · Post graduate professional qualifications or qualified by experience
· Substantial experience as a Business Analyst together with Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering experience – 5-8 years min · Experience in full systems lifecycle, from analysis, through to design, build and implementation – 5-8 years min · Experience of 3rd Party solution selection and implementation as well as internal developed solutions – 5-8 years min · Experience within Financial Services or Insurance industry – 5 years min · Leading teams and driving through analysis best practice – 5 years min |

Detailed Key Performance Area | · Written Communication (Ability to compile clear and comprehensive documentation)
o To identify, analyse and document business requirements and business rules on designated projects to deliver Requirements Catalogues, Business Requirements Definitions/Specifications including use cases and process maps as required o Ensure that final deliverables of task or project meet the stated business requirements, have been successfully delivered and measured against original design specifications within agreed deadlines o Work with Suppliers during Analysis, Design and Build phases to ensure Solutions meet business requirements o Responsible for working with the appropriate business area at the proposed project stage, from initial concept onwards to ensure accurate and timely analysis o Work with the Business to ensure that requirements are articulated correctly and the impact of business and systems changes are fully understood o Work with the Business to ensure Business Cases are produced and Feasibility studies / Project proposals are produced to meet User Requirements o Deliver full requirements traceability and benefits mapping of all changes · Analytical Approach (Identify, challenge and simplify user requirements) o To drive forward new ideas, strategy and proposals through Business teams to develop and/or enhance existing propositions to meet current and potential customer requirements o Carry out in-depth research and analysis of current propositions against market trends and technology advances o Assess new technologies in the market and make recommendations against business requirements/ business problems o Assess industry trends, regulatory changes and monitor competitor activities to ensure deliverables compliment strategic and tactical thinking · Impact and influence through customer focus (Operate within all areas to influence processes and business decisions professionally and efficiently) o Deliver & facilitate workshops for business owners, enabling them to look at the detail around their requirements and the impact of their desired / proposed change o Work with Systems Analysts to identify, gather and document Functional and Non-Functional Specifications o Work with suppliers to identify, analyse and deliver solid requirements and proposals o To assist with Functional testing o Provide support to the Training Team and validate the quality of the training material produced |
